Connie was elected to Dairy Farmers of Prince Edward Island in 2020 as a Western District representative and endeavours to maintain and improve a strong dairy presence on PEI.
Connie has been involved in agriculture very early growing up on a small dairy farm. In 1994, she and her husband, Garth, purchased cream quota and in 1997 shifted to shipping milk. She received her Accounting Technician Certificate from Holland College and has worked in the accounting field for various industries on PEI.
Connie has also been a long time volunteer in her community sitting as a Board Member, Treasurer or other executive for local Sports Centres, Figure Skating Club, Day Care, Church and Oyster Festival.
