Say hello to Suz Brouwer, a first-generation dairy farmer who’s turning dreams into reality in Kingston, PEI. Suz started Eastview Dairy from scratch in August 2023 through the New Entrant Program—and she’s been proudly milking 50 cows ever since with the help of her Lely robotic milker.
Farming solo, Suz has embraced every challenge and triumph with grit and heart. Her barn is a free-stall setup with sand bedding, designed with cow comfort and efficiency in mind. After almost two years in the industry, what keeps her inspired? “The diversity within one industry—there’s always something new to learn or do.”
